Bayhaqi 5416 — The dislike of leaving shortening, wiping over leather

وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، عَنِ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيِّ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " كَمَا يَكْرَهُ أَنْ تُؤْتَى مَعَاصِيهِ ". أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ سَلْمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْآدَمِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الصَّائِغُ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، فَذَكَرَهُ.
Sayyiduna Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(Allah loves) that His concessions be accepted, just as He dislikes that disobedience to Him be committed."
