أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا حَجَّاجٌ، وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ، أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَا: ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ قَالَ: نُبِّئْتُ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْرُجُ مَا بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ لَا يَخَافُ إِلَّا اللهَ فَيَقْصُرُ الصَّلَاةَ ".
Muhammad bin Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I was informed that Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went from Madinah to Makkah, he feared none but Allah, and still he (peace and blessings be upon him) would shorten the prayer.
