Abu Salamah narrates from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to make his mat into a compartment and pray in it at night, and during the day he would spread it out and sit on it. People began to come continually, and they would pray along with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), until their number became very large. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) turned to them and said: "O people! Take on only as many deeds as you are able, for Allah does not grow weary (of rewarding); it is you who grow weary (of deeds). And Allah loves the deeds that are done consistently, even if they are few."
