Bayhaqi 5228 — A woman who goes against the Sunnah in where she stands

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ، أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ قَالَ: قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ: " وَإِذَا لَمْ تُفْسِدِ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى الْمُصَلِّي أَنْ تَكُونَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَهِيَ إِذَا كَانَتْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ أَوْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَحْرَى أَنْ لَا تُفْسِدَ عَلَيْهِ ".
Imam al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) says: When a woman being in front does not invalidate the prayer, then if she is on the right or the left, all the more so it will not be invalidated.
