Bayhaqi 5098 — The duty of fathers and mothers to teach children

Uthman al-Hatibi says: I heard Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) saying to a man: Teach your son good manners, for you will be asked about your child: what manners did you teach him, and what did you teach him? And he will be asked about his goodness and obedience to you.
