أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْعَلَوِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو حَامِدِ بْنُ الشَّرْقِيِّ، ثنا أَبُو عَوْنٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَفْصٍ، ثنا عَبْدَانُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ فِي لَيْلَةٍ ذَاتِ ظُلْمَةٍ وَرِيحٍ أَوْ ظُلْمَةٍ وَبَرْدٍ أَوْ ظُلْمَةٍ وَمَطَرٍ فَنَادَى مُنَادِيهُ: أَنْ صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ "..
Nafi' narrates from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), while on a journey, on a dark and windy, cold or rainy night, would tell the one giving the call to prayer to say: 'An sallu fi rihalikum' "Pray in your lodgings."
