Nafi' narrates from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he gave the call to prayer on a windy and cold night, then said at the end of his call: 'Ala sallu fi rihalikum, ala sallu fi al-rihal', because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to order the caller to prayer, when the night was cold, or rainy, or windy on a journey, to say: 'Ala sallu fi al-rihal' "Listen! Pray in your dwellings."
