أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو صَادِقِ بْنُ أَبِي الْفَوَارِسِ قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَتْ: " صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَرَضِهِ فِي بَيْتِهِ الْمَغْرِبَ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ، قَرَأَ وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ، مَا صَلَّى بَعْدَهَا صَلَاةً حَتَّى قُبِضَ "..
Sayyidah Umm al-Fadl bint al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with her) says that during his illness the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in the Maghrib prayer in his house. He (peace and blessings be upon him) was wearing only a single garment which he (peace and blessings be upon him) had wrapped around himself, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) recited (Surah) wal-Mursalat [Surah al-Mursalat: 1]. After that he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not lead any prayer until he passed away.
