أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي، وَأَبُو صَادِقٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الصَّيْدَلَانِيُّ قَالُوا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَبُو قِلَابَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي غَالِبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْوِتْرِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ يَقْرَأُ فِيهِمَا إِذَا زُلْزِلَتْ، وَقُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ".
Abu Ghalib narrates from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray two rak'ahs sitting after the witr, reciting in them "When the earth is shaken" [Surah al-Zalzalah: 1] and "Say: O disbelievers" [Surah al-Kafirun: 1].
