وَرَوَاهُ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: " لَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَ أَنْ يُصَلَّى الْفَجْرُ إِلَّا رَكْعَتَيْنِ " أنبأ أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي، أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الْفَرَّاءُ، أنبأ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، أنبأ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ فَذَكَرَهُ مَوْقُوفًا وَهُوَ بِخِلَافِ رِوَايَةِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، وَابْنِ وَهْبٍ فِي الْمَتْنِ وَالْوُقُوفِ، وَالثَّوْرِيُّ أَحْفَظُ مِنْ غَيْرِهِ إِلَّا أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَفْرِيقِيَّ غَيْرُ مُحْتَجٍّ بِهِ وَلَهُ شَاهِدٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ مُرْسَلًا.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both): "No prayer should be prayed after Fajr, except two rak'ahs."
This narration is mawquf (stopping at the Companion), and it differs from the narration of al-Thawri and Ibn Wahb both in wording and in being mawquf; al-Thawri has better memory than the others, except that Abd al-Rahman al-Ifriqi is not used as evidence. It has a supporting mursal report from the hadith of Ibn al-Musayyib.
