Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while I was with him (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: O Messenger of Allah, should we perform ablution after eating mutton? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you wish, do so; otherwise leave it." Then he asked: May I pray in the sheep pens? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, pray there." Then he asked: Should I perform ablution after eating camel meat? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, perform ablution." Then he asked: May I pray in the camel enclosures? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No."
