Bayhaqi 427 — The recommendation of purity for remembrance

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that one should prostrate only in a state of ablution, recite only in a state of ablution, and offer the funeral prayer only in a state of ablution. Mawquf (a Companion's own statement).
