وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ: خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَعَلَيْهِ جُبَّةُ صُوفٍ رُومِيَّةٌ ضَيِّقَةُ الْكُمَّيْنِ فَصَلَّى بِنَا فِيهَا لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ غَيْرُهَا ".
Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came one day wearing a Roman woollen jubbah with narrow sleeves. He (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in prayer, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was wearing nothing besides that jubbah.
