Bayhaqi 4033 — The length of recitation in Maghrib
اُردوEn
وَأنبأ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا حَمَّادٌ، أنبأ هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ " كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ بِنَحْوٍ مِمَّا يَقْرَءُونَ وَالْعَادِيَاتِ وَنَحْوِهَا مِنَ السُّوَرِ ".
Hisham bin Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) said that his father (may Allah have mercy on him) used to recite in the Maghrib prayer the same kind of surahs that you recite, such as "By the racers, panting" [Surah al-Adiyat: 1] and surahs like it.
