وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، وَثنا حَمَّادٌ (ح) وَأنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَعْنِي السَّالَحِينِيَّ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ أَبِي دَاوُدَ، وَفِي رِوَايَةِ السَّالَحِينِيِّ " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ بِـ السَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ وَنَحْوِهَا مِنَ السُّوَرِ ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite in the Zuhr and Asr prayers "By the sky and the night-comer" [Surah al-Tariq: 1] and "By the sky containing great constellations" [Surah al-Buruj: 1]. In the narration of al-Salihini: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite in the Zuhr and Asr prayers "By the sky containing great constellations" [Surah al-Buruj: 1] and "By the sky and the night-comer" [Surah al-Tariq: 1] and surahs like them.
