Bayhaqi 4019 — The length of recitation in the Fajr prayer

Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that, when travelling, he used to recite the first ten surahs of the Mufassal in the morning prayer, reciting one of them in each rak'ah.
Imam al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) did not mention the surahs; rather, he said: the first ten.
