وَأنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أنبأ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي الْعِشْرِينَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، ثنا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ أَسْوَأَ النَّاسِ سَرِقَةً الَّذِي يَسْرِقُ صَلَاتَهُ " قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَكَيْفَ يَسْرِقُ صَلَاتَهُ؟ قَالَ:: لَا يُتِمُّ رُكُوعَهَا وَلَا سُجُودَهَا " وَرُوِيَ ذَلِكَ فِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In terms of stealing, the worst of people is the one who steals from his prayer." The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), how does a person steal from the prayer? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He does not complete its bowing and its prostrations."
