أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: " صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكَانَ لَا يُتِمُّ التَّكْبِيرَ " وَهَذَا عِنْدَنَا مَحْمُولٌ عَلَى أَنَّهُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَهَا عَنْهُ فَلَمْ يَسْجُدْ لَهُ.
Ibn Abd al-Rahman bin Abza narrates from his father (may Allah be pleased with him): I prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would not complete the takbir.
(b) In our view this is to be understood as meaning that he (peace and blessings be upon him) forgot to say the takbir, and therefore he did not prostrate for it.
