أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْخَلِيلِ الْمَالِينِيُّ، أنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي سُوَيْدٍ الذَّرَّاعُ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ، ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ، ثنا سَلَّامٌ الطَّوِيلُ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيِّ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: دَعَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَاءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَاحِدَةً وَاحِدَةً فَقَالَ: " هَذَا وُضُوءٌ لَا يَقْبَلُ اللهُ الصَّلَاةَ إِلَّا بِهِ ". ثُمَّ دَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ مَرَّتَيْنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ، فَقَالَ: " هَذَا وُضُوءُ مَنْ يُؤْتَى أَجْرَهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ ". ثُمَّ دَعَا بِمَاءٍ، فَتَوَضَّأَ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا فَقَالَ: " هَذَا وُضُوئِي وَوُضُوءُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ قَبْلِي ". وَهَكَذَا رُوِيَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ. وَخَالَفَهُمَا غَيْرُهُمَا، وَلَيْسُوا فِي الرِّوَايَةِ بِأَقْوِيَاءَ، وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called for water and performed ablution washing each part once, then said: "This is the ablution without which Allah does not accept prayer." Then he called for water and performed ablution washing each part twice, and said: "This is the ablution of the one who will be given a double reward." Then he called for water and performed ablution washing each part three times, then said: "This is my ablution and the ablution of the Prophets before me."
It has likewise been narrated from Abd al-Rahim bin Zayd al-Ammi from his father, and others contradicted the two of them; and they are not strong in narration. And Allah knows best.
