Bayhaqi 3573 — Dislike of interlacing the fingers in prayer

(a) Isma'il bin Umayyah narrates: I asked Nafi' about a man who prays with the fingers of one hand interlaced with the fingers of the other. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "That is the prayer of the Jews."
(b) The hadith of Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) about interlacing the fingers after performing ablution and after beginning the prayer has its place in the Book of Jumu'ah.
(c) If that hadith is established, this ruling would apply to all prayers.
