أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ، أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، أنبأ سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ: " كَانَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَكَّئُونَ عَلَى الْعِصِيِّ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ".
Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (may Allah be pleased with them) used to lean on staffs in prayer.
