وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ قَالَ: قِيلَ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ: إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ يَقُولُ: يَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ الْكَلْبُ وَالْحِمَارُ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ " لَا يَقْطَعُ صَلَاةَ الْمُسْلِمِ شَيْءٌ ".
Salim (may Allah have mercy on him) relates that someone said to Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ayyash bin Abi Rabi'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "A dog and a donkey break the prayer." Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "Nothing breaks the prayer of a Muslim."
