Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I used to lie in the qiblah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) wanted to pray witr, he would say: "Move aside."
(b) In another narration it is reported from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): When he (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to pray witr he would wake me and I would also pray witr; and that is more correct.
