It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution. He put his hand into the vessel, sniffed water into his nose and rinsed his mouth once. Then he put his hand into the vessel and poured water over his face once, poured water over his hands twice, and wiped his head once. Then he took a handful of water and sprinkled it on his feet while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was wearing sandals.
