Bayhaqi 3419 — Gesturing about something that happens in one's prayer

Sayyidah Asma' bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: When the sun was eclipsed, I came to the Mother of the Believers Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), the honoured wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The people were praying, and she too was standing (in prayer). I said: "What is the matter with the people?" She pointed with her hand towards the sky and said 'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah). I asked: "Is it a sign?" She indicated with a gesture: "Yes."
