Ubayd bin Umayr (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I heard Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reciting qunut here, in the Fajr prayer, in Makkah.
A similar narration is also transmitted from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) through another chain.
These narrations are sahih (authentic) and mawsul (connected).
