فَمِنْهَا مَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حِمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْعَبْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ، ثنا خُلَيْدُ بْنُ دَعْلَجٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: " صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَنَتَ وَخَلْفَ عُمَرَ فَقَنَتَ وَخَلْفَ عُثْمَانَ فَقَنَتَ ".
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and he recited qunut; I prayed behind Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and he too recited qunut; and I prayed behind Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) and he too recited qunut.
