It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) strongly urged them concerning the prayer and forbade them from turning away from the prayer before the imam (and by the imam is meant he himself (peace and blessings be upon him)).
This is a shortened part of the hadith that is established from Ali bin Mushir through al-Mukhtar bin Fulful, who narrates from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) about the prohibition of the follower preceding the imam in bowing, prostration, standing and turning away.
And here it is also possible that by turning away and leaving the prayer the salam is meant, and some other possibility may also exist. And Allah knows best.
And a report has also been narrated to us on the authority of Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him). He says: The key of the prayer (its opening) is the takbir, that is, saying 'Allahu akbar' (Allah is the Greatest), and its conclusion is the salam, that is, saying 'As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah' (Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah). When the imam gives the salam, stand up if you wish.
