وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ الْعَلَوِيُّ إِمْلَاءً أنبأ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ الْمُزَكِّي، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ السُّلَمِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ قَالَ: هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ، تَقُولُ: اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ " رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The angels keep supplicating for mercy for any one of you as long as he remains sitting in the place where he prayed. The angels say: 'Allahummaghfir lahu, Allahummarhamhu' (O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him), as long as he does not lose his ablution."
