أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقَطِيعِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، فَذَكَرَهُ وَقَالَ إِنَّ أَمِيرًا أَوْ رَجُلًا وَلِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ شَوَاهِدُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْهَا مَا.
(a) This narration is also reported through another chain, and in it are the words 'anna amiran aw rajulan' (that a governor or a man).
