أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحِرَفِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ نَافِعًا يَقُولُ: رَأَى عَبْدُ اللهِ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي سَاقِطًا عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ مُتَّكِئًا عَلَى يَدِهِ الْيُسْرَى، فَقَالَ: " لَا تُصَلِّ هَكَذَا إِنَّمَا يَجْلِسُ هَكَذَا الَّذِينَ يُعَذَّبُونَ ".
It is narrated from Hisham bin Sa'd: I heard Nafi' say that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) saw a man praying, slumped on his knees and leaning on his left hand, and he said: "Do not pray like this; it is those who are being punished who sit like this."
