أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، أَخْبَرَنِي فُلَيْحٌ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبَّاسُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ قَالَ: اجْتَمَعَ أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ، وَأَبُو أُسَيْدٍ، وَسَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ فَذَكَرُوا صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ: أَنَا أَعْلَمُكُمْ بِصَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَذَكَرَهَا وَذَكَرَ السُّجُودَ قَالَ: ثُمَّ " رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ حَتَّى رَجَعَ كُلُّ عَظْمٍ فِي مَوْضِعِهِ ".
Abbas bin Sahl said that Abu Humayd, Abu Usayd, Sahl bin Sa'd and Muhammad bin Maslamah (may Allah be pleased with them) were gathered together and were discussing the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Abu Humayd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I know the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) better than all of you. Then he described its complete manner, and when he mentioned prostration he said: He (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his head from the (first) prostration until every joint returned to its place.
