أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ⦗٩٦⦘ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ الْجُعْفِيُّ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، أَنَّهُ دَعَا بِوَضُوءٍ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ فِيهِ: " ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى فِي الْإِنَاءِ حَتَّى غَمَرَهَا الْمَاءُ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَهُ بِمَا حَمَلَتْ مِنَ الْمَاءِ، ثُمَّ مَسَحَهَا بِيَدِهِ الْيُسْرَى، ثُمَّ مَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ بِيَدَيْهِ كِلْتَيْهِمَا مَرَّةً، وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ، وَفِي آخِرِهِ: فَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى طُهُورِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَهَذَا طُهُورُهُ ".
(a) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he (may Allah be pleased with him) called for water (and he narrated the hadith).
(b) In it is: Then he (may Allah be pleased with him) put his right hand into the vessel and immersed it in the water, then lifted the hand wet with water and passed it over his left, then wiped his head once with both hands (and he narrated the rest).
(c) At its end is: "Whoever would like to look at the ablution of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), this is his (peace and blessings be upon him) ablution."
