أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ، قَالَ: أَتَانَا عَلِيٌّ وَقَدْ صَلَّى، فَدَعَا بِطَهُورٍ، وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ تَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْثَرَ ثَلَاثًا، فَمَضْمَضَ وَنَثَرَ مِنَ الْكَفِّ الَّذِي أَخَذَ فِيهِ، وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ، وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ: " مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَعْلَمَ وُضُوءَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَهُوَ هَذَا ".
Abd Khayr (may Allah have mercy on him) says: Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came to us after he had prayed. Then he (may Allah be pleased with him) called for water. In it (the narration) it is stated that he (may Allah be pleased with him) then rinsed his mouth and blew his nose three times; he rinsed his mouth and blew his nose with the same palm with which he had taken the water.
Then he mentioned the long hadith. At its end it is: Whoever would like to know the method of the ablution of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), this is that (method).
