أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رِبْحٍ السَّمَّاكُ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أنبأ شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ، عَنْ ⦗٤١⦘ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْيَحْصِبِيِّ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ قَالَ: " صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا كَبَّرَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ مَعَ التَّكْبِيرِ، وَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ " أَوْ قَالَ: " سَجَدَ وَرَأَيْتُهُ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When he said the takbir he would also raise his hands, and when he bowed, and when he raised his head from bowing, or prostrated, he would also raise his hands.
I saw him (peace and blessings be upon him) giving the salam to his right and to his left.
