أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْوَزِيرِ، ثنا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا الْأَنْصَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ ثنا عُبَيْدَةُ السَّلْمَانِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ فَقَالَ: " مَلَأَ اللهُ بُيُوتَهُمْ وَقُبُورَهُمْ نَارًا كَمَا شَغَلُونَا عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى حَتَّى غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَهِيَ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ " أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ هَكَذَا، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ.
Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of the Trench (Khandaq), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May Allah Almighty fill with fire the houses and the graves of (those polytheists) who did not let us offer the middle prayer until the sun set; it was the Asr prayer."
