أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ وَكِيعٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: " يُعْتِقُ مِنْ ثُلُثِهِ ". وَرُوِّينَا ذَلِكَ عَنْ شُرَيْحٍ وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ..
Al-Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he used to say: "He (the mudabbar) is freed out of his (master's) third."
