وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أنبأ زَاهِرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، وَالْغَزِّيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَجْعَلُهُ مِنَ الثُّلُثِ..
Imam al-Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) that he used to count him (the mudabbar) against the third (of the estate).
