Abu al-Rijal Muhammad bin Abd al-Rahman narrates from his mother Amrah, and she from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), that she had made a slave-girl of hers mudabbar (to be freed upon her death); the slave-girl then worked magic (on her) and also confessed to it. So Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) ordered that she be sold to a Bedouin who would be a bad owner (that is, who would not treat her well), and so she was sold.
