أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَدِيبُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا حَبَّانُ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ ثنا عَوْفٌ عَنْ سَيَّارِ بْنِ سَلَامَةَ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَأَبِي عَلَى أَبِي بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ فَقَالَ: لَهُ أَبِي أَخْبِرْنَا كَيْفَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الْمَكْتُوبَةَ؟ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى أَنْ قَالَ: " وَكَانَ يَنْفَتِلُ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ صَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ حِينَ يَعْرِفُ الرَّجُلُ جَلِيسَهُ وَكَانَ يَقْرَأُ بِالسِّتِّينَ إِلَى الْمِائَةِ " رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُقَاتِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ وَأَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ.
Sayyar bin Salamah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I went with my father to Sayyiduna Abu Barzah al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him). My father said to him: Tell us at what times the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer the obligatory prayers. Then he mentioned the complete hadith and said: When he (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the Fajr prayer with the salam, each man could recognise the one beside him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite from sixty to a hundred verses in Fajr.
