Chapter: One who slanders another with an offence carrying a hadd punishment or by denying his lineage, his testimony is rejected, and likewise one who frequently spreads tales or backbites

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا تَمْتَامٌ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الرُّكَيْنِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ كَانَ ذَا وَجْهَيْنِ فِي الدُّنْيَا كَانَ لَهُ لِسَانَانِ مِنْ نَارٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ".
Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever was two-faced in this world will have two tongues of fire on the Day of Resurrection."
