وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِلْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ: مَا الْمَيْسِرُ؟ فَقَالَ: " كُلُّ مَا أَلْهَى عَنْ ذِكْرِ اللهِ، وَعَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فَهِيَ مَيْسِرٌ ".
Abu Salamah (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I asked al-Qasim bin Muhammad (may Allah have mercy on him): What is maysir? He said: Everything that distracts from the remembrance of Allah and from the prayer is maysir.
