Nafi' narrates from Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) came to his household while they were playing "al-arba'ata 'ashar", "the game of fourteen pieces", and he broke it. He (the narrator) says: I heard Hammad say that he broke it over (his) head.
