Bayhaqi 20954 — Playing dice (nard) is more disliked than any other

Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Beware of these two nard pieces over which there is rebuke; they are the gambling of the non-Arabs."
Al-Bakka'i narrated it as marfu' (attributed to the Prophet) from Ibrahim, as did Suwayd from Abu Mu'awiyah from Ibrahim; the preserved version is mawquf (a saying of the Companion).
