أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو صَادِقٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْعَطَّارِ قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ، ثنا أَبُو النَّضْرِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: رَدَّ شَهَادَةَ الْخَائِنِ وَالْخَائِنَةِ وَذِي الْغِمْرِ عَلَى أَخِيهِ، وَرَدَّ شَهَادَةَ الْقَانِعِ لِأَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ، يَعْنِي التَّابِعَ، وَأَجَازَهَا عَلَى غَيْرِهِمْ "..
Amr bin Shu'ayb narrates from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The testimony of a treacherous man, a treacherous woman, one who harbours rancour against his brother, and a slave in favour of his master shall not be accepted; regarding others it is permissible."
