Bayhaqi 20821 — One whose lying is exposed and done openly without

Ibn Abi Mulaykah narrates from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the most hateful trait to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was lying. When a man told a lie in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) would remain displeased with him in his heart until he (peace and blessings be upon him) came to know that he had repented.
