Bayhaqi 20791 — A brief account of noble and lofty character traits

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not speak obscenely, nor deliberately use such speech, nor did he engage in cursing and abuse. When he had to reproach someone, he would say: 'Ma lahu tariba jabinuh' (May his forehead be covered in dust! What is the matter with him?)
