أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ إِلَّا وَقَدْ أَخْطَأَ أَوْ هَمَّ بِخَطِيئَةٍ لَيْسَ يَحْيَى بْنَ زَكَرِيَّا، فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يُخْطِئْ، وَلَمْ يَهِمَّ بِخَطِيئَةٍ "..
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no servant from whom a sin has not issued or who has not intended a sin, except Yahya bin Zakariyya; he neither erred nor intended a sin."
