وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ، أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمُحَامِلِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ ⦗٢٢٩⦘ سَلَمَةَ، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنِ ابْتُلِيَ بِالْقَضَاءِ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَلْيَعْدِلْ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي لَحْظِهِ وَإِشَارَتِهِ وَمَقْعَدِهِ ".
Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is tested with the office of judge among the people, let him be fair between them in his seating, his gestures and his glances."
