أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ثنا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ: قَضَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّ " الْخَصْمَيْنِ يَقْعُدَانِ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْحَاكِمِ ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) decreed concerning two disputants: "Both of them are to sit before the ruler."
